These SMS Terms of Service (“Terms”) describe how Coherence Education (“we,” “us,” “our”) communicates with you using text messages (SMS/MMS). By opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. SMS Program Description

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from Coherence Education related to:

  • Class reminders

  • School updates

  • Event notifications

  • Enrollment information

  • Administrative alerts

  • Promotional messages about programs or offerings

Message frequency varies.
Standard message and data rates may apply.

2. Opt-In Requirements

You agree that:

  • You are the account holder or have permission from the account holder to receive messages.

  • You are at least 18 years old, or a parent/guardian has provided consent.

  • You understand that SMS consent is not required to use or enroll in our programs.

You opt in by:

  • Submitting a form with your mobile number

  • Checking a consent box on our website

  • Agreeing verbally during enrollment

  • Texting a keyword to a short code/long code we provide

3. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying:

  • STOP

  • UNSUBSCRIBE

  • CANCEL

  • QUIT

  • END

    After sending STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message.
    You will not receive additional SMS messages unless you opt in again.

5. Message and Data Rates

Your carrier’s standard messaging and data rates may apply.
Coherence Education is not responsible for any charges associated with SMS messaging.

6. No Warranty & Service Availability

SMS delivery may sometimes be delayed or undeliverable due to:

  • Carrier issues

  • Device settings

  • Location and signal strength

  • Internet or network congestion

We are not responsible for delays, failed messages, or any damages caused by interruptions in SMS service.

7. Privacy and Data Handling

Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Your data may be shared only with:

  • Trusted SMS/email service providers (e.g., ActiveCampaign)

  • Third parties necessary to deliver our services

  • Regulators or authorities if legally required

8. Consent to Receive Automated Messages

By opting in, you acknowledge and consent that messages may be sent through:

  • Automated dialing systems

  • Auto-texting platforms

  • Bulk messaging tools

This includes automated reminders and notifications.

Consent is not required to purchase or enroll.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Coherence Education, its staff, and partners will not be liable for any:

  • Delayed or failed message delivery

  • Losses or damages related to SMS communication

  • Charges billed by your mobile carrier

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the SMS service is to discontinue participation.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Coherence Education harmless from any claims arising out of:

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Misuse of the SMS service

  • Unauthorized use of your mobile number

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time.
The “Last Updated” date will reflect any changes.
Continued participation in our SMS program constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
